Population sizes are based on current day figures available on Google Maps for each specific location. Although these numbers were not the same at that time, at least this provides a view of population sizes relative to each other. It shows that two thirds of these individuals were born in towns of less than 50,000 people, and the Majority of those are farming communities of less than 5,000. In comparison with the Canadians, many more Americans were born in major cities.
