1911 Body guard for leaders on Revolution Day, Chengdu. This was taken the day the new Republic was declared. This was the bodyguard of the new leaders whose picture we sent you before, but who fled when we did. This guard stood at the entrance to the door where the new leaders were receiving congratulations from the many callers and serving tea.
