Houseboat Moored for Night

Item

Title
Houseboat Moored for Night
Caption
18. Scene opposite us for which we took coming up river. Note the pagoda (right side) and on the other side steps lead up to the little house you see built in the rock. The steps were hewn out of the rocks We were tied up for half a day close to this boat you see in the picture. [The sentence for the AEJ_14 caption that identifies the location as Leshan appears to be an afterthought, and I'm not sure it is correct. The pagoda doesn't look right for the one at Leshan. CW]
