Description: A two story brick residence built in combination Western-Asian style with large balconies surrounding first and second floors. There are two chimneys and a dormer window on the roof. An outbuilding can be seen to the left and a wall to the right of the house. Alice Estabrook was stationed in Luzhou before marrying E. Kyle Simpson.
Commentary: One of the two photos of this house was printed flipped horizontally so that both images had the out building to the left, which is impossible. The image of the back of the house has been flipped horizontally to achieve the correct effect, although it is not known which of the two images was incorrect in the original print.
