Description
-
Formal portrait of David and Alicia Graham on their wedding day. David wears a long jacket with white tie and turned up collar. He has a small flower in his lapel. Alicia wears a floor length white satin dress with a lace bodice. She wears a floor length veil and glasses, making her look very scholarly, as she was.

Commentary
-
"We were married on the seventh of June. It was a church wedding, and the church was full. The Moreys and Alicia had many friends. And there were many fine presents for the bride, big cut glass dishes etc etc. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Kenyon, the pastor, and Mr. Beaven. Then there was the party at the Morey house. That wedding cost Alicia's parents five hundred dollars. And Alicia certainly looked sweet. Harold Barst, now an MD, was my best man."
