Description
-
A pair of golden statues - one of a five-clawed dragon, the other of a standing phoenix - on platforms in a courtyard in front of a temple building at the Summer Palace, Beijing. The front of the temple appears to be shrouded in cloth coverings behind tall painted columns. Grass grows in the crevices of the stone steps in the background.
