Looking north along an artificial embankment towards workers carrying loads on a temporary bridge over a narrow channel of the Min River. The close up view of the stonework shows the integrity of the craftmanship.

Commentary
-
This print version of the image was found in an envelop labelled "Don's Photos." It seems more likely taken in 1944 by him than earlier photos of Dujiangyan that were likely taken by his father, Earl. The family had no doubt visited the site more than once.
