This was taken in Hankow on the bund (street along river). In the background are the foreign buildings, home of consul, etc. There are other rickhas [sic] all around. Notice the rubber tires, and if whole thing showed, you would see a top like on a baby carriage. Hope you will get a ride in a ricsha [sic] when you come to visit us. Soon we travel in sedan chairs. Myrtle Johns sits in a rickshaw on the bund in Hankow with foreign buildings in the background. The man who pulls the rickshaw stands in front holding the poles to pull it. Myrtle wears a floor length skirt with matching jacket, a fur stole, leather gloves and a huge hat. The driver wears a cotton jacket and trousers with sandals and a brimmed hat.
